In the past several years
there has been a special program established for gifted children in the
Samara area. Programs of this type are one of the ways of working with
14-16 year old teenagers who show strong interest in learning and scientific
research.
The aim of this program is designed to enhance
the skills of these gifted children, particularly in the areas of modern
science and technology. This program seeks to find and support gifted children.
This special program will not only be an additional
component of extracurricular education, but also can serve as a means of
vacation and relaxation for a wide spectrum of interests. 
Programs of this type help
children not only to satisfy their broad interests in learning science
related school subjects, but also these programs allow children to communicate
and compare their knowledge in practical ways. There are two types of summer
schools: multiprofile and profile schools. Both schools are held in comfortable
well organized holiday homes or camps. The number of participants may vary
from 50 to 100 people. The students are offered to 10 differed educational
work shops. Currently, the International School is set to begin in the
near future.
